The Jackals would build on their momentum and take the lead at 10:37 of the period with Justin Kea's fifth goal of the season. Mitch Holmberg and Lucas Bloodoff added the assists on Kea's go-head marker. Off of the ensuing faceoff Justin Sawyer and Jaynen Rissling dropped the gloves at center ice and excited the crowd.
