Elmira Eyes Fourth Straight Win In Wheeling

WHEELING, WV - The Elmira Jackals, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and AHL's Rochester Americans, go on the hunt today for their fourth consecutive victory when they take on the Nailers at 4:05 p.m.

The Jackals head back on the road today to face the Wheeling Nailers for the fifth of 13 meetings this season and the third of seven at WesBanco Arena. The next three road games for the Jackals will all be played in Wheeling, West Virginia. The previous meeting between these two former Atlantic Division rivals resulted in a 4-2 win for the Nailers at WesBanco Arena. The Jackals jumped ahead 2-0 just 30 seconds into the second period but Wheeling clawed back and recorded the game-winning goal with 26 seconds left in regulation. In the first meeting at WesBanco Arena this season, the Jackals also scored the game's first two goals, but fell in the shootout, 3-2. Elmira is 38-27-9 all-time against the Nailers.
