Even though the 2014-15 season is just beginning, the upcoming weekend series in Kalamazoo marks the final two meetings this year between these two clubs. Eleven Jackals earned at least one point in their season opener against Kalamazoo and four rookies (Thomas Nesbitt, Steven Shamanski, Taylor Stefishen and Allan McPherson) scored their first professional goal that night.

Mike Seidel scored the game-winning-goal on Wednesday against his former team, the Evansville Icemen. Seidel has notched a point in three straight games to begin his career with the Jackals.

Taylor Stefishen leads all rookies with eight assists and ranks second among first-year players with 10 points. He is also tied for the league-lead among rookies with two power-play goals.

The Jackals put a combined 98 shots on goal against Brampton last weekend. Elmira followed up with 41 shots Wednesday night against Evansville. The Jackals rank second in the league with 36.25 shots for per game.
