Tonight the Jackals make their only trip to the Huntington Center in Toledo, Ohio for the fifth and final meeting this season. These two Eastern Conference foes finished their season meetings at First Arena on March 16th, and the Walleye shutout the Jackals 3-0. Back on March 6th, the Jackals and Walleye put on an exciting show for the home crowd as the Jackals clawed their way back into the contest with goals from Lucas Bloodoff and Mike Seidel. However, their furious push for the equalizer fell one goal short despite firing 21 shots on goal in the third period. The previous meeting resulted in the same score, but the opposite outcome with the Jackals coming out on top. Taylor Stefishen and Mike Bergin each notched a goal and an assist to lead the Jackals offensive effort. Thomas Nesbitt recorded the game-winning goal and Travis Fullerton turned aside 38 of 40 shots to propel the Jackals past the Walleye, 3-2 on February 7th. These two teams only met once last season and the Jackals came out victorious, 4-2, on February 1st, 2014. Elmira is 10-9-2 all-time against Toledo.
