Tuzzolino Loaned To Rochester

Veteran Defenseman Earns Third AHL Call-Up Of Season

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today that veteran defenseman Nick Tuzzolino has been loaned to Rochester.

Tuzzolino, 29, makes his third trip to the American Hockey League this season. The 6-foot-6 225-pound blueliner skated in 10 games with the Binghamton Senators, recording one assist and 23 penalty minutes, in addition to one game with the Utica Comets. Tuzzolino has appeared in 40 games with Elmira this season, notching 14 points (two goals, 12 assists) and 88 penalty minutes. Last season, Tuzzolino played in 36 games with Rochester, collecting three points and 43 penalty minutes. In 519 professional games, the Buffalo, New York native has collected 224 points (53 goals, 171 assists) and 1,140 penalty minutes.
