Jackals Look To Continue Winning Ways Against The Walleye

ELMIRA, NY - The Elmira Jackals, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and AHL's Rochester Americans, finish their three-game home stand tonight against the Toledo Walleye. The Jackals have won six of their last eight games, including the first two of their current home stand.

Tonight, the Jackals finish their three-game home stand against the Toledo Walleye. This marks the second of five meetings this season and the second of four at First Arena. The first meeting of the year resulted in a 6-2 win for the Walleye back on December 6th. The Jackals allowed a season-high four power-play goals on five attempts as Toledo's special-teams unit was red-hot. Ryan Rashid and Steven Shamanski scored the goals for the Jackals. These two teams only met once last season and the Jackals came out victorious, 4-2, on February 1st, 2014. This year will mark the first time that Elmira will host Toledo for more than two games in a single season. Elmira is 9-7-2 all-time against Toledo.
