The Jackals are 11-1-1 all-time against Evansville since the Icemen joined the ECHL in the 2012-13 season. Elmira is also 6-1-1 all-time at First Arena against the Icemen. The Jackals swept the first weekend series against Evansville two weeks ago with a 4-2 win on Friday and a 4-1 defeat on Saturday. They will eye another sweep tonight after defeating Evansville 3-2 in overtime last night. Former Icemen Mike Seidel scored the overtime game-winner 1:07 into the extra frame.
