ELMIRA, NY - The
Elmira Jackals, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Buffalo Sabres and
the AHL's Rochester Americans, announced today that veteran defenseman Nick Tuzzolino has been returned to the club from loan to the Binghamton Senators of the American Hockey League.
Tuzzolino, 29, rejoins the Jackals following his second AHL call-up this season. The 6-foot-6 225-pound blueliner has appeared in 38 games for the Jackals this season, posting 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) and 84 penalty minutes. Tuzzolino has also skated in 10 games with Binghamton, recording one assist and 23 penalty minutes, in addition to one game with the Utica Comets. In 517 professional games, the Buffalo, New York native has collected 223 points (53 goals, 170 assists) and 1,136 penalty minutes.
Next up
for the Jackals will be a two-game home stand on Friday, February 20th
and Saturday, February 21st against the Indy Fuel at First Arena. Puck
drop is at 7:05 p.m.
