The Jackals are facing the Walleye tonight for the first, and only, meeting this season. It comes exactly one year to the day after Elmira and Toledo last locked horns. No team in the Eastern Conference has appeared on Elmira's schedule less often than the two times the Walleye have in the last two years. Elmira holds an all-time record of 8-6-2 against Toledo since it came back into the ECHL for the 2009-10 season. Elmira enters tonight's game averaging four goals per game over its last three and takes on a Toledo club that has given up the most goals (147, 3.7 per game) in the ECHL. After a 3-1 home loss to Cincinnati last night the Walleye have lost three of their last four at home and have been held to one goal in each of the three losses. Elmira, meanwhile, is 3-1-0 in its last four road games.
