Big Weekend Fun On Tap At First Arena

ELMIRA, N.Y. - The Elmira Jackals have a weekend of fun planned for this weekend's three-in-three series with the Wheeling Nailers. The highlight is Arnot Health and the Elmira Jackals teaming up to host Organ and Tissue Donor Awareness Night on Saturday, February 22.

In addition to other activities throughout the night the Jackals will be wearing special Donate Life jerseys that will be auctioned off live postgame. Proceeds from the auction will benefit Donate Life which is a not-for-profit alliance committed to increasing organ, eye, and tissue donation across the United States.

Holly Campbell, a donor mom, will be singing the National Anthem with a special puck drop featuring a donor family and person awaiting transplant pregame. Door prizes will be given throughout the game including a Family 4-Pack to the April 13th Buffalo Sabres vs New York Islanders game.

The Jackals want to help their fans ramp up the intensity on Friday when they kick off the three-game series with Wheeling. Swan and Sons-Morss Company is sponsoring a rally towel giveaway to the first 1,000 fans in attendance.

Sunday's game will feature the traditional postgame skate with the Jackals. Immediately after the game ends you can hit the ice with your favorite Jackals players. It's the perfect time for autographs and photos! The skate is free for anyone who has tickets to the game. If you don't own skates of you own, there will be pairs available to rent from the Ice Pavilion at First Arena.

You can purchase tickets for games this weekend by clicking here or by calling 607-734-7825. Don't forget that groups of 10 or more qualify for discounted tickets and preferred seating based on availability. Group tickets must be booked in advance.
